INTRODUCTION:
Quaid-i-Azam Academy was established in 1976 through Resolution. Quaid-i-Azam Academy is now Sub-Ordinate Office of M/o National Heritage and Culture. Academy’s head office is located at M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi. It has a sub-office which is housed in National Archives of Pakistan building, Islamabad.
MANDATE:
Following are major aims and objects of the Academy:
- Undertake the research ventures devoted to promotion of studies on various aspects of Quaid’s life
- Conducting a holistic research on the life & services of Quaid-i-Azam and his associates and allied topics in carving out a separate homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent;
- Publication of books and research papers on Pakistan Movement, Quaid-i-Azam and his associates, and other relevant material;
- To arrange functions/seminars and celebrate National days for highlighting the cultural, social, political and economic aspects of the history of Pakistan.
Sale/dissemination of publications:
The Academy sells these publications to institutions and individuals at 50% discounted rates and provides complimentary copies to the guests whenever desired. However, there is no discount on the books below the price of Rs.200/-. In this regard, QAA has established a permanent book stall at Mazar-e-Quaid. The organization also takes active part in Book Fairs.

The Quaid-i-Azam Academy, keeping in view the following objectives, celebrates various National Days to commemorate significant events and personalities in Pakistan's history.
- Promoting National Unity: Celebrating national days promotes national unity and solidarity among Pakistanis.
- Preserving National History: These celebrations help preserve Pakistan's national history and cultural heritage.
- Inspiring Patriotism: National day celebrations inspire patriotism and nationalism among Pakistanis, particularly the youth.
